A Seminar titled
“Business strategies for SMEs” was held during the BCS
Computer Show-2004 held at the Bhashani Novo theatre
recently.
The seminar
provide an opportunity to reinforce the message that
Bangladesh SMEs can achieve success in the international
export market should appropriate strategy is developed.

In his keynote
speech, Shumon laid emphasis on strategy formulation terming
it prerequisite to successful entrepreneurship. He explained
that proper business strategy solidifies corporate goals and
sets priorities, enabling entry into the target market on
the part of management and employees

Shauket said the economic future of Bangladesh hinges on the
potential of SMEs to take advantage of globalization and to
compete internationally in the post-MFA (Multi-Fibre-Agreement)
